How to make a pickaxe in survival etc

Cant find how to craft a pickaxe and dynamic building button does not work. Starting to think devs couldnt care seen others use dynamic building in videos year old i play it now and i cant use it so many things in this game that should work dont and there are no where to get help its rediculous.

The game is changing, there is new keys and we got some major updates.

We have to learn the proper reseach at the ''Da Vinci'' table first to be able to build in survival.

what do you mean by Da Vinci table i dont know what that is or how to get it. When i was playing with my mate we would make an axe make a crafting table then research table but couldnt advance anymore because there was no way to make a pickaxe.

Here it's the second reseach at the normal table > you have to aim at the table and hit ''F''

Use the axe < it works like a pickaxe

i cant swing the wooden axe outside the tree cutting logo. still dont understand how to get iron

You can get iron using a shovel while digging in the orange colored ground.
Once you get enough iron using the shovel, you should be able to build the furnace and smithy to make a good pick :)

Just make a crap ton of shovels when you go to mine your ore, they break really fast and you could get trapped in a hole with no way out :)
