Iron Ore: Rich Vein Locations

Since I was unable to find any information on where to find better iron veins, this may come in handy for more people. I checked these in multiple worlds, so I assume the locations are the same for everyone.

Rintel, Region (H,1), Area (B,4) - Iron:Stone 3:3 - In a pretty dense forest, may be hard to spot
Rintel, Region (H,1), Area (I,2) - Iron:Stone 6:0 - On top of a mountain, the ground has a deeper red colour

You may have to dig pretty deep to reach the iron. The 6:0 one doesn't look like grey rock with some reddish parts, but is completely red/brown/whatever.

I went and did some scouting with my friends and this is what we found :P

I looked at Bar Hadur F3 but I couldn't find any Iron

The locations they describe are from over a year ago in the 0.5x builds of ME. The new planet with the different biomes does NOT match the old planet at all. Those locations are now meaningless in terms of ore.

I am playing this game for few days and I haven't find any iron so far. I can spot many copper veins, I could dig for stones from grey mountains, I could dig clay from underground but I could not see any iron vein or somethig. Is it possibble to spot an iron vein by looking at ground? If so, how? Does anybody know?

Go where the grass is yellow and look for the reddish patches.

in some of the landmarks good amounts of iron ore can be found. i had one that was like a craggy valley and i could see where all the iron was in the rock walls.
