How do I pick up my work table?
Just like the title says, I can't pick up my work table. I can deconstruct it, along with other things, but it's time consuming to rebuild. I've seen previous comments about using the F key, but I've never been able to get the key to work. I'm running the latest version of ME and even started a new game just in case.

I tried everything. I've tapped the F key. I've held the F key, Shift+F, Ctrl+F, Alt+F. Nothing.

Hi ciero9,

Try in a new world NO Mods to compare and see if it's a bug with the game.

I was able to raise the table in the air, but I couldn't pick it up (put in my inventory). I once picked up my research table, but I haven't the foggiest idea how I did it.

Just curious, are there limits if something is placed using the construction grid? The table in my main game is in my house. The one I picked up in the test game was just sitting on the ground.

The only Mod I was running was the Containers/Accessories mod.

There is No limits.

Try in a new world > empty planet > creative > add the table on the soil > aim at it and hold the ''F'' key.

You should see a countdown icon on the center of the screen, wait till the countdown finsh and the table should be in you inventory.

I have had this bug on a couple of items. A crafting table once, a campfire another time. I can't figure what happens, but sometimes they just become un-pick-up-able!

One option is to take a sword or axe and beat it til it breaks. Or use a hammer and right-click it to deconstruct. Can take 15 or 20 hits, but eventually it will deconstruct and you'll get part of its building materials back.

Did you press 0 to switch to your hand before holding F? I did come across a research table that didnt want to go last week and had to hit with a hammer to make it go away.

Hello Ciero,

I had the same problem today. I think I found a solution. Approach to your table and hammer it with wooden malice or iron hammer with left mouse button. You cant pick up the crafting table probably because its damaged, but it does not show you this information anywhere.
When I "repaired" my crafting table, I could pick it up back to my inventory.

Ivan, I definitely pressed 0 before holding F. Thanks Kejn! It'd be nice to have a simple damage bar on everything so we don't need to guess.

Ciero9,

I agree. And we have been discussing this problem in the past. We will definetly look on this issue again in the future, once we will be focusing on intuitiveness of the game.
