Lagging / Teleporting with low ping

Recently I have been lagging really bad at first I tought it was from some one on my internet but as I am the only one who is home right now and my wifi is off Im sure its not me,, so I join rooms with good ping my ping is around 40 - 60 but after sprining up a stairs i would find my self down that same staris i just went up it happens randomly does any one elese have this problem??

Yep, I get it too. It just happens randomly on rare occasions. Usually goes away after a few seconds.
It's definitely something on their end, possibly with the servers?

I am starting to lag, Not sure whether the servers are dedicated or host dependant but I only seem to lag when somebody in the game has a ping over 100.

I always connect to EU servers so I did a speed test connecting to a server that is located in Cyprus (The furthest place away from my current location that is still in EU borders) to check how i connect to EU servers in other parts.

The ping is over 100 when connecting to the farthest reaches of the EU from me on the speed test though my ping in game never goes above 35 so I'm connecting to a server fairly close to me meaning my Up and Down speeds would be faster too so I know for 100% sure it has -nothing- to do with my internet so it's either P2P servers with lag being created by those with high ping or it's just bad netcode.

If there is even a single person in the game with over 100-125 ping, EVERYONE starts lagging it seems. The game will be playing fine, then some guy with like 150 ping will join and then everyone is jittering around, teleporting, correct hit detection goes out the door, all kinds of bad.

No idea if it's the lag compensation or the servers though.

Same conclusion I've come to, I suspect they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ P2P servers rather than dedicated...P2P servers are always lag fests if not managed properly D:

I think its server choke over latency issues. servers are too slow to handle heavy player loads. Most of the servers are maxed out. Im guessing that the game is probaly running on virtual servers on a blade cluster or cloud. its not the most ideal but its the best balance for cost and performance. Im getting bad lag issues too...

For one, it's probably not the ping instead is you're frame rates.

The servers are not peer-to-peer. Hit registration is client-sided, but the networking is definitely client-server. Someone of 400ms can hit you around corners due to the fact they're playing almost half a second behind time using the client hit registration.

Also my net is just plain bad so I can't tell if it's their servers or me. It's usually me.

ill just stop playing cus the lag spikes are so bad. i mean the game says my ping is 20!! but i get the orange and the red wire every 5 to 10 seconds, at first i thought it was my internet or computer but no, i can play any other game with no issues
