Who's Evil? CDA or Jackal?

In the Lore mostly the Jackal Faction consists of attackers while CDA are Defenders, are the CDA trying to keep the virus to them selfs or is Jackal attacking to find a cure with all the drug samples?

It all based on perspective, and remember that "History is written by the victor", so CDA could be the good guys or Jackal could be the bad guy, or the other way around.

dome is a containment zone, or rather one of the supporting pylons of the quarentine dome, so if cda (defending) containing the radioactive zone from spreading, jackal would be a terrorist group attempting to breach said containment. the same for most maps, like terminal, jackal is trying to flood the station, cda is trying to protect it? is that last part right?

Aren't they just a bunch of mercs fighting themselves? I don't think either of them is particularly good.

Some of the graffiti in game almost implies that the CDA may have been responsible for the Dirty Bomb attacks to begin with- meanwhile Jackal's stopping by to troll the CDA and steal their tech.

The only real good guys are the individual mercs, and even then some of them are clearly more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than others.
