once you are lower than 1k players you are dead. No one else is buying, and no one else is left developing or providing support since there is no money to be made.

What remains of the game is still fun, and there are enough players to get some games going but don't expect any updates or hotfixes

I always forget steam charts is a thing, I usually use community hub numbers to tell if a game is dead or not but DB's number doesn't show.

Steam doesnt show numbers under 300 players.

That being said despite the low player count there are always matches going on

I've played daily this past week and have never had trouble finding a match except in scenarios where the servers are completely full of players.
