Trade up cards to Cobalt

How do you trade up cards to Cobalt? I can't see any way to do this. I know how to craft, but can't see trade up. I did this before in earlier versions though, but I can't see anything with the current version.

It was removed a while ago. However I think they are adding it back at the start of 2018

Yeah, sucks that they care so little about their steam achievements. They had a 'trade up' achievement before, my mate couldn't do it for almost a year due to this, and prevented a perfect game. Now i would like to get cobalts but it's costing a crazy amount to craft. Really wish they didn't put this into steam achievements, i'm sacrificing a crazy amount of cards just for this.

The achievement unlocks if you also craft a cobalt. I've crafted a cobalt for all 3 new mercs, which all had the same 'craft or trade up a cobalt for them' and have unlocked the achievement everytime.

Why would you sacrifice so much for a simple achievement? I could not care less.

Yeah I don't understand the obsession with silly steam "achievements" at all.
What do you achieve exactly? And what's the result of getting the "achievement"?

They're just little challenges to go for, and getting them all gives you the glory of saying you have a perfect game.

I did craft a cobalt, i'm not saying that doesn't work, i'm saying it's not possible to 'trade up' for a cobalt. This feature hasn't been around for a very long time. Like over a year I think. It just bugs me that they care so little about the consistency of achievements compared to what is actually possible in the game.

You recycle your old ones into fragments and if you have accumulated a ridiculous amount of fragments, just add credits to craft a cobalt of your chosen merc
