Whats your experience with different sensitivities in different Games?
I quitted Overwatch a while ago, now I want to start playing it again besides Dirty Bomb, but the problem is that I use another sensitivity in both games and I have the fear of loosing my muscle memory. The difference is arround 2cm/360 rotation, so I just wanted to know, what experiences you have made.

just make it the same

really depends on the game. there are games you can't really play with high sensitivity and there are games you can't really play with low sensitivity.

in the case of overwatch and dirty bomb I'd agree with

Both are quite fast paced and have a similar concept. So what I mentioned above shouldn't be a problem. Just take the sensitivity you like better and set it for the other game.

As for your question in the title. I use my regular sensitivity in DB and Overwatch (if I remember correctly its 3000dpi - it's been a while since I changed it) and for CSGO I adjust it through the ingame settings to be a lot lower(I think something like 0.1 - probably a multiplicator). It's quite the difference. After playing one game for a while you definitely notice a difference but doesn't take long to get back into it. Just need to "warm up" again before actually starting to play. And at the latest after a few rounds it's all back to normal. After playing DB for a while I actually get quite frustrated because I want to wall jump in csgo and realize I can't but the aiming is back to normal after a bit of playing.

I don't use any hard numbers, but generally I follow the rule of making the sensitivity low enough for comfortable tracking, but quick enough to make a tight turn if necessary.

I typically try to maintain the same sensitivity across all games for this purpose, even if it's not exact.

My sensitivity varies greatly between games. In overwatch my tracing is much slower, in DB it's much faster. The reason for this is they complement eachother; I can play PUBG or DB or OW and then switch between games and I'll do very well.

Basically, fast teaches me control, slow teaches me precision. When you can do any sensitivity well, after playing for a while, you can play with different sensitivity and have it not make a difference.

Thanks for the detailed answer :D, When I was playing Dirty Bomb I also sometimes try to move in Overwatch liek I did in DB, which is not really helpful. I guess I will just keep my sens in Overwatch, its just a little bit higher after all. I can warmup in AimHero or other Games before I go play DB again then

I played quite alot of different fps games last years and I noticed it was best for me to keep the same sensitivity over all the games. I'm alot more consistent with my aim this way.

I played alot of Battlefield, some CSGO and PUBG and now DB and I have the same sens over all the games.

In my experience, the relative difference between the two sensitivities in different games
could be important. When i played Strike Vector, a 6DoF Arena Shooter (~5cm/360°) and DB(38cm/360°) immediately afterwards, i had no problem adapting to the new environment. Playing UT4 (20cm/360°) beforehand however, really messed with my aim in dirty bomb.
I don´t know how impactful a difference of 2cm/360° is, but if it´s that low, why not adjust them, so you can increase you ability to aim in both games at the same time?

The disuse of neuronal pathways usually weakens them, so playing with a different sensitivity will, at best, be like not playing with your used sensitivity at all.

There is an online tool that i use to adjust sensitivities between games, and it works reasonably well: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/
