wc3 popularity comes from it's custom game, it's what keep it alive for so long

I swear the discussion forums are just where people come to whine or actively try to influence the devs into making the game worse. I'm stoked for this game and I hope the devs stick to their guns because it's looking very good so far.

You have a point. After WC II the third game felt like dumbed down rpg-wannabe, ESPECIALLY Frozen Throne.
I am glad that Scouring plays like WC II.
Also there was a great RTS with heroes - Rise and Fall: Civilisations at War. They were balanced so a good army and tactics could kill it easily. Also in Rise and Fall you could personally control a hero

i would argue heroes are good, if done right, also mobas are the worst thing in existence, nothing gets as boring in gaming as a moba.

And i would love to see a 3rd race or at least more units in some coming soon update

I agree, while WC3 is great - WC1/WC2 are fantastic as well. I like the traditional aspect of RTS, now playing a MOBA game. If you want to play MOBA, play LoL or DOTA.

Hero mode is just an additional mode bro calm down the RTS part of this game is awesome and im sure will be greatly modable!

Hero mode is good. It will be nice addition to future campaign. I wish there will be more ability to control building or at least direct control of units.
