Could you be bothered to even specify whether you mean the opening day rosters or current rosters? Because the latter won't be fixed by OOTP themselves regardless.

Because the season starts on Opening Day, with the rosters from Opening Day.

It's not really that simple to update the rosters on a constant basis during the season, when one takes into account not just MLB but also MiLB, indie minors, and leagues in other countries. On top of that, our rosters team is made up of volunteers, so we can't ask them to do this kind of thing all season or they'd be beyond burned out when the time comes for the next version of the game.

OOTP 16 getting lazy and i refuse to play as long as they don't fix it. We all bought this game for a true baseball simulation and we deserve it.

I agree 100% Stoned Baller the ootp 16 developers should keep the rosters ALWAYS up to date. If the ootp 16 developers dont start making changes fast me and tons of my other friends will refuse to play. We deserve roster updates fo 40$.

MLB: The Show and the 2K Series only have to update 1280 players (add/delete a few more) per year. OOTP would have to update over 50,000 since the game includes more leagues, levels, etc.. You'd have to have a huge staff to make that happen.

And speaking of staff sizes, Sony employs close to 200 people on The Show alone (not including the ICE team, etc. that handle graphics and such). OOTP employs less than 10 full-timers.
