I see there's a hunger/stamina bar which might lead to a game over?
and multiple options do something about something which cost resources
Is this a rougelike game?

Not a roguelite at all thankfully, just an adventure game with cooking.
Those bars are used on mini-game events to scavenge foodstuffs, or to clear roadblocks without spending day time. That's basically only two choices in the whole game, with different sauce.
You can pass out in a few ways but it doesn't do much besides ending the day early.
