Tinkering and sphere of negative weight
I mistakenly posted this in the bug report forum but I think tinkering a small sphere of negative weight to weigh less should either be reworked, removed or at least warn players for negative weight items before they tinker them. No one would ever want to make the sphere less effective. Maybe I’m just dumb or wasn’t thinking but my first thought was “oh sweet you can make it better“ only to have it weigh more and not be as good.

I was wery confused when read wiki about spheres that tinker weight mod make spheres worse. The sphere gives -10 weight, in the not powered state it becomes simply 10 weight. Simple mathematics and we get that the power of the sphere is 20 weights, 10 to compensate for its own weight and 10 useful weight. In theory, modding weight of sphere should increase efficiency; a lighter sphere spends less of its power on compensating for itself and more on benefit.

That is a guess and not a deduction how it works. It is named "negative weight" and what it does is reversing its own weight or mathematically: *-1. It is not some sphere with a weight that has a hovering power. It is reality distorting and effected by normality.

How it works in the code is basically giving the suspensor mod with a power of 200%.
