Recoilers and hostiles
I don't understand the limitation on recoilers that you can't teleport with hostiles nearby, it makes it much more difficult for certain builds to use as a clutch teleport to save your life. Unless you have a way to exploit it like surrounding yourself with a force wall/bubble/even gas which inexplicably lets you teleport even if enemies are just a few tiles away. It's easy to exploit if you've got the right powers/gear, so why is the limitation even there in the first place? Is there some in-universe explanation or is it just an arbitrary limitation?

Well, if that were the case, than literally any situation could be escaped by using a well timed Recoiler.
