Ganglionic Teleprojector refuses to respond
I'm a chimera mutant without psionic migraines so I'm perfectly capable of wearing helmets. I've been wearing a ganglionic teleprojector that I got a few levels ago, tinkered it up to be 2 face, powered it with sufficient power from a full nuclear cell and I've attuned to it after 100-ish turns. The activated ability for using the teleprojector is there, I choose which direction to use it on annnnnd it doesn't work. Things to note are:

1. It doesn't take up a turn
2. The activated ability doesn't go on cooldown
3. There's no response or feedback from the command after I try to use it on a robot
4. I tried multiple robots of different levels that I spawned in
5. Ganglionic teleprojectors work with mutants, yes, not just true kin. I used it when I had dominated Wardens Esther who is a mutant therefore... yeah

No clue what's going on. I tried to troubleshoot in multiple ways but I can't get a good diagnosis of the problem. It really could be anything and it baffles me. Has anyone had this issue happen to them or have any tips?

Interesting, I wonder if Ganglionic Teleprojector's ability is technically classed as a mental mutation in the code and thereby excludes chimera (although that's probably a bug and not a feature), or if this is truly a bug.

Well to update you on that @I blame Earthshaker , I had tested this out further and this is getting weirder and more confusing. I went to 2 different old save games where I had a teleprojector and had used it to retrieve the clonelings from Bethesda Susa. I tried to use it in those saves and it didn't work. Exact same problem, i try to use the ability but there's no feedback. Also I swapped bodies with different creatures, including True Kin, and attempting to teleproject had the same result. i created 2 new saves, 1 with a mutant generalist and a True Kin. Wished for the teleprojector with an antimatter cell to power it, attuned to it and it still refused to work.

So what this testing shows is that first off, no, it isn't excluding Chimera. Chimeras can technically still use mental mutations if they're wished or temporarily acquired from artifacts like lase and temporal fugue. It doesn't disallow them from using mental mutations either, just from acquiring them through mutation purchasing. All that aside, it looks like my entire CoQ game busted the teleprojector if it doesn't work with new files so I'm assuming 2 things: the devs messed it up by accident when squashing bugs or tinkering around in the last feature friday or I experienced a really difficult to diagnose (and replicate) bug which infected my game files so it persists. I wouldn't know if it's the former hypothesis until someone else tries it out with the newest version of the game

One more thing. I reinstalled CoQ and now there's something new happening. Still doesn't work unfortunately BUT I get a prompt during the part when I'm activating my ability. It says "chromeling does not have a digital mind you can make electronic contact with" and when I try to use it on an empty square with no creatures it at least acknowledges that there's no creatures in that tile with a prompt at least. I'm not sure why this is happening, this was working fine 3 days ago. This definitely got messed up with an update
