Regeneration mutation expolit

I've discovered that if you hack off your limbs and eat them while you've got the mutation Regeneration at level 10 you regrow limbs fast enough for the mutation to provide a reliable source of food. Testing myself I survived for weeks in the desert with no food and an infinite supply of water from a fungal jungle. I ate my face at one point. I don't know if you'd want to nerf something as gruesome and absurd as this but I figured I'd bring it to your attention.

Also I don't suppose we could get the option to choose which limbs we can cut off? I'd like to see if I can get out of curing ironshank by cutting my legs off and travelling via mechanical wings instead.

That sounds more like a feature than a bug that should be advertised.
How do you even willinginly chop off your own limbs?

If you go in to key bindings and go to the bottom, there's a 'dismember limb' option. It's amongst the debug options so it might be removed in 1.0. I really hope not though.
