There exist a dimension known as (X)

Sometimes when I look at certain NPCs I learn gossip about random dimensions with different names. What is this gossip for? Can I acess these dimensions in some way?

It is gossip added to your journal like other gossip in the game. You can trade it as a secret with interested factions. The dimensions are randomly generated and you can not access those specifically.

Interdimensional items and N-dimensional starshell have home dimensions other than the one you are playing in, though last time I played the star shells did not actually have those listed in the info box and you just randomly got the popup that you've learned about the dimension, which might be a bug.

The extra dimensions are basically just flavor and sources of bounty hunter types for now. The names change every run. Might get expanded for a DLC if we're lucky...

Interdimensional items will have a specific set of bonuses based on the dimension they are from.
