How do you get rid of waxflab?

It says, gell and cider. Eat sproutworm corpse. Apply 1 dram from a spray bottle.

I ate the sprout worm corpse, Applied the uncutaneous cider from the spray bottle to wax flab and it just says your skin itches. The wax flab is still there. Does it take time to work or is this bugged?

Looking around the net it does seem like a bug, where the corpus lists an incorrect corpse for fungal infections.

Cure is randomly generated, so you always need to check that Corpus book, in every game
If you are 100% sure that you did everything right and it's a bug, just wish for 'curefungus'
Amputating your own body parts, then healing it with Ubernostrum Injector or inside regeneration tank is also legit available option

If you ate the right corpse and it did not tell you that you felt queasy, you've run into a bug and can wish it away.
