Restore autosave?

Is there a way to restore an autosave from backups or whatever? I'm talking about the zone transition saves, not the checkpoints. I died to a wall of rocket turrets while going ruin diving, and accidentally hit the "Restart from checkpoint" button, upon which I lost hours of progress. I tried looking into the appdata folder, but all I can find is the checkpoint data.

Primary.sav.gz (+the json) is the main save and the auto save. There is also the Primary.sav.bak. If those are not there, you'd have to use some file restoration solution your OS supports.

Thanks. There wasn't a .bak for me, but I fetched the primary from the Steam cloud via the /remotestorage page. Somehow that didn't help, though. It still reverted back to the Grit Gate checkpoint associated with the same timestamp. Guess I'll just shelve it for the time being.

Did you check the "saves" folder or the "synced" folder?

Synced. The "saves" folder only has some extremely obsolete stuff from back in '23.
