On Launch it asks "How many do you want to drop?" and just sits there

I have been trying to play this game and after about 100 hours it throws a massage up and I can't continue. I have installed and re installed it. On launch it gives me a small window that says "How many do you want to drop?" and then "~Page Down ~UI:Navigate/down" etc. Id there a way to get this game to work? Thanks.

yes, "Follow the crash troubleshooting thread and one of those normally fixes it." without providing a link to the information (or, preferably, the information itself) doesn't really tell us what to do, lol...
