Suddenly no sound effect

Hi, today I play Qud but suddenly there is no sound effect anymore.

I check with my computer setting and try in other game and it work fine.

Also, check in the option menu in game and I already tick enable sound.

Anyone encounter this problem?

Are all other sound categories also enabled? Are all of them at a high volume? Does your Os have Qud's sound automatically reduced? Did you restart your computer and the issue persists?

-Don't think so, becuase I try it with other game and it fine.

OSs can modify the sound output for certain programs only. E.g. in Linux' sound settings I have volume bars for Qud, the browser etc. This is independent from the master volume. Programs like Skype can also do this automatically for when you start a call and I've seen this bug out and only change the settings for some programs but not others and it not resetting when calls get cancelled etc.

None of this might be your issue though. Maybe someone comes up with a better idea.

None of this might be your issue though. Maybe someone comes up with a better idea.

It's possible that other program mute it, I'm using window 10 and also using some communication program like Zoom & Microsoft team so it may be that.

But I checked it as you suggest but can't find any in the setting in the app that seem to relate to this problem OTL

I uninstall Steam and re install it again. Now Qud sound is back lol.
