All of that said, these only the highest damage weapons. They have one fatal flaw, the lack of pierce value (PV). I think the highest PV you can get with these weapons is like 14, where as end game robot enemies like leering stalkers tend to have armor values (AV) in the 20s and above. You can't deal damage if you can't get pass the armor.
This is where the Vibro weapons come in. Their damage is several tiers lower than the previous weapons, that said their PV will always match the AV of whatever your attacking. While this lowers your dps against low armor enemies, you will most likely not be fighting those guys, by end game you will be fighting Chrome pyramids and magma crabs. The vibro weapon of choice is the vibrokhopesh, which you will get from just doing the main story. After that you have the standard vibro blade and vibro dagger, which are long and short blade respectively. For ranged you have the Linear cannon.
