Advanced tageting?
So I just started to play CoQ and have been enjoying myself a lot with the game! I was just curious if there is any way to target specific parts of an enemy like you can in dwarf fortress.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

P.S Devs you're doing a fantastic job with this game and i would like to thank you for it :D

From the store page: "Hack the limbs off monsters—every monster and NPC is as fully simulated as the player. That means they have levels, skills, equipment, faction allegiances, and body parts. So if you have a mutation that lets you, say, psionically dominate a spider, you can traipse through the world as a spider, laying webs and eating things."

Either the beginning of that description is grossly misleading or you can actually target body parts.

Hm yeah thats what confused me. There doesn't seem to be an option to target a specific part of an enemy (or at least not to my knowledge).

there's no advanced targeting, and dismemberment is through skills (axe, for example)

Indeed. Dismemberment, although quite rare in my experience of a quad axe wielder, happens via an axe skill and probably something else.

Quite amusing to lob off someones arm mid-fight... although they usually die before body parts go flying :)

Well, it's not like this game is in Early Access for just fixing bugs. Advanced targeting would objectively make the combat more interesting and I would like to see this in the future.

Indeed it would add a lot more depth to the combat system and im sure it would be a welcome addition!

I dunno. I guess against the occasional rare monster.
I'd hate to have to click too much to kill regular creeps. 1 click per attack is enough there.

If they were to add it im sure they would make it optional like a different key to do the specific aimed attack compared to the standard attack.
