Help with finding Chavvah?

Hi!

I've been trying to find Chavvah without success so far:
- I first got its location through mumble mouth, but there is nothing there
- Then I tried to attune to the chiming rock, but it keeps giving me the same location (if I delete the previous entry)

Should I wait for it to relocate? Is there another method to find it? Has this happen to anyone?

Getting it through mumble mouth should probably not happen, since you definitely need to attune first.

After you attuned, there is still nothing at the location shown? Or did you not try to go there again after attuning?

Attune->go there
Is all that you should need to do. You can lose attunement with specific actions, but the game should tell you.

I think I did got it though mumble mouth first (maybe this caused a problem).

I tried attuning and then going to the location - after attuning I got the same location I knew from before, and it was still empty.

How can I lose attunement?

I thought it was from entering the Rainbow wood, but apparently that was just a believable coincidence when it happened to me says wiki.

If you go there and enter the parasang from the world map, do you still get the entry for Cavvah like so?:

Waited around 35k~ turns, seems like the location is the same

I meant the entry to select to enter at the Chavvah location. It is not like you are trying to find it only in the center of the tile or expect the city to be like others, that are spread on the whole 3x3 parasang right? You choose to enter the exact direction from the world map menu (like in my screenshot) but it is empty then? If so: this should probably go into the bug report section.

I think I deleted the entry before waiting - maybe I should try to keep the note and wait until I get a lost attunement message.

And I was in the exact location in the tile as directed in the entry and it was empty.

In any way it sounds like you ran into a bug with Chavvah not being there in the first place. I've made an entry in the bug forum:

I waited with the entry and still did not lose attunement.

Does anyone know if there is a wish to force Chavvah to generate? I have empty second floor.

Have you tried "rebuild"?
Also, if you're heading downward to the taproot, there are no stairs. You have to smash a hole in the floor and fall through (except every fifth level, where the floor can't be damaged but there is a staircase).

To head down I need a key, and the tree is not generating above ground level in the location I was given by attuning. There are no NPCs from Chavvah to even give me the key to begin with

Rebuilding removes the ground level including the staircase, and rebuilding in hight of strata 1 doesn't change anything. If only unnatunment actually happened over time I could hopefully have it generate it elsewhere and after reatuning it might actually show up. But I don't know if this is possible as attunmnent seems permanent unless I remove the marker and reatune to be pointed to the same broken location
