Regeneration cannot grow back a tongue lost from glotrot. True or false?

Already drank my version of the cure described in corpus choliys in a flaming canteen. Something along the lines of"It tastes worse than it looked" popped up but I wasnt sure if the glotrot was cured. Looked at myself and saw that the glotrot description is gone. Assumed that I was cured of the bloody glotrot.

Waited several weeks and gained ~7+ levels and gathered +$2000 worth in loot but it seems that my tongue did not grow back despite my lvl 10 regeneration. Should I wait longer? Must I eat a yuckwheat stem and/or honey?

Is there a bug where there should be a glotrot description on me but there isn't?

Found an uberstronum tonic laying on the ground in some ruins while auto-exploring and pressing left alt, it turns out that regeneration cannot grow some body parts. To answer the question: true; it is true that regeneration cannot grow back your tongue removed from glotrot.

On another note, there was a text after I applied the uberstronum tonic that I "was cured of Glotrot!" in that case the devs should put a description text on the afflicted persons.
