Does Dream Smoke work at all?
I tried five different ways to make it work:
- cooked the food myself and dominated a creature - got no quickness buff
- cooked the food while in a dominated creature - got no quickness buff
- cooked the food and piloted a living mecha - got no quickness buff
- cooked the food myself and got my mecha to cook the food - got no quickness buff
- killed my original body and got my mind stranded in a dominated creature then cooked dream smoke - got no quickness buff

How is it supposed to work?

The 2nd case should have absolutely worked. It bugs out though when you kill your original body while already having the metabolising effect and becomes a permanent bonus.
