Question about Domination
So I just saw Seth's video, does that trick still work with Domination? Can I permanently inhabit another body by dominating it and destroying my old one?

Yes, but you have to kill your body with a single hit or you'll switch back. Also, you can't dominate/cheese merchants nearly as well anymore.
Neat, thank you.

You absolutely can, you just have to be a little higher than level 1 now lol

On a related note, I dominated an NPC and went to talk to his friends, but they all responded to me as if I were the PC. Obviously it would be infeasible to write dialogue for every dominable NPC (although LLM integration might suffice), but that seemed like a significant bug. Maybe just don't let dominated characters talk?

It's better left as is. Trying to accommodate will open a Pandora's box of bugs. Talking is good, you can spend reputation and teach your companions skills taught by water-bonded creatures.

At lvl25 and 36 Ego I was able to dominate every merchant.

I think this is consistent with the nature of "Domination".
When you Dominate other creatures, you implant your ego onto their physical form. Your stats are set to that of the creature, but your knowledge is retained from the PC (you keep secrets you've learned, for example).
Essentially, everybody can tell that you've acquired this form using Domination, in the same way you can tell if a creature is 'beguiled' when you look at them. The friends of the guy you Dominated are gonna treat you like a creature possessing their friend, not like their friend.
Now, I would love to see the ability to pretend to be somebody else when you use Dominate. Especially if you could change your faction reputations by perma-Dominating somebody else. Plenty of Sultans faked their deaths, why can't I?

You used to be able to do it basically at level 1.
