I never found an option for that, so that's news to me
Does this really make a difference for game balance? You could manually look at each square and creature to see what they are, even with the green version. This is just nicer to look at
Also, verisimilitude, but yeah, it's also a game with psychic powers, reality distortion and swords, so that's understandably less important...
