Beat the first quest. Now what?

Beat the first quest, but I killed everything on the way there, and everything in the cave. Now I have only 18 drams of water, and nobody in the starting village sells water. And I dont know where to go next.

Water is currency. Sell an item, ask for water back ("to fill out the trade")

Argyrve has a questline that should get you going for a bit. There's a pilgrim'll give you a quest to travel to the Six-Day Stilt, which in turns sets you up for further quests there as well.

Press Backspace in any area to see the important characters you can talk to.

I tried selling items for water, but I cant get the trade to go thru. I press 0 and nothing happens.

I was just trying to do the first quest Whats Eating the Watervine and I can't find what exactly is eating the watervine. I walked around killing all the hostile mobs i could find and gained levels even but couldn't find exactly what im supposed to kill and bring back? then finally I ran into some crazy badass psychic guy who tore into my mind killing me from 300 feet away even tho i immediately sprinted away as soon as I saw him. whats up with that?! I feel like I'm getting better but I just need more dots to connect for me.

The sunder only stops when they get crowd controlled, killed or you leave the area. They have 5 hp.

Did you go down into Red Rock? You should find them on the lowest level.

I was pressing 0 instead of O, I finally found out.

I explored all around. Are there Z levels? I was wandering in things that seemed like structures or maybe some kind of cave.

There are Z levels. You have to go down the stairs in the center tile of Red Rock.
