Where are the Catacombs?
Good afternoon.

I'm at a point in the game where I have to go to the "Northwest Catacombs" for my main quest.

I have a lot of locations in my journal that I'm not sure where to look, if I even visited that place before. When they say "North West Catacombs", is it north west from the spindle? Because there's some ruins there but I don't know if it's the catacomb or one of those randomised locations.

The Folk Catacombs are located underground in the Tomb of the Eaters. You are looking for the upper left zone of that parasang

It is the Spindle.

More accurately, it's under the Spindle.

I see, thanks.

When I was at the door on the left with the skeleton face, I was prompted with a message saying something like it was sealed for eternity, but I still managed to get inside by spamming my melee weapon on it and got further in. It felt like I was cheating so I quickly peeked about the catacomb online and saw that the "Mark of Death" was is needed to open it.

Is it normal to be able to exploit breaking through walls like that to access places that normally need security cards or other key items, etc? I'm beginning to think that the game is designed that way.

The mark of death does more than just opening the door too
