Angry Baetyl blocks main quest

Looks like early game I killed too many legendary snapjaws that were loved by Baetyls. Now I can't decode the signal. Six day stilt didn't spaqn any bookstores. Any advice on rising reputation with Baetyl faction?

Dang that sounds unlucky! If you don't get realistic suggestion in the thread but really do not want to give up the run, you could wish "reputation:Baetyls:200" to force a continue.

Alternatively, you could try a few methods of forcing the Baetyl to become friendly individually if changing factional reputation is unreasonable.

I'm not certain if the standard conversion methods will actually work on Baetyls given they are nonstandard entities, but it couldn't hurt to at least try. Love Injectors, Beguile, Rebuke Robot, and Proselytize are all worth using here. Baetyls are only level 25, so you should have a reasonable chance of succeeding on the mental roll /if/ it is possible at all.

It is not possible to recruit them normally (the beguile wish works though and after that they count as normal creatures). They are kinda in-between creature and object I guess (Spray-a-Brain does not work either). I actually had angry beatyls 2 times in the tombs with a sultan cult. I really wanted those extra quests, but ended up using schroedinger pages.

Tried with love injector as melee weapon vs a random baetyl, the injector did pen critically but did not work
