Save-Location on the Deck

Hello there, just got into the game and i freaking love it.

i'm playing this game for a few days now and i want to share saves between my Deck and my desktop PC. I am aware cloud saves arent a thing because of the file size, but i should be able to just .zip them and send them over in between devices right?

The problem is: i cannot locate my save files on the Deck. I consulted with google to find the "general" location of the windows %appdata% files on the Deck, but the folder with CoQ's game ID appears to be empty and even activating the "show hidden folders" flag in the Linux-Desktop mode doesnt show anything inside, even though the folder claims to be 3.3GB in size.

I'd really prefer if games would stop using %appdata% for savegames and just put a "Save" folder in the installation directory for portability reasons.

I don't know much about the Steam deck, but it might follow the Linux path instead. It's also just the default Unity stuff and should not be Qud specific.

thanks for your reply. I settled for two seperate saves with different playstyles on both devices, but i hope this will help someone eventually.

Just in case - you could have a problem you wont figure out immedieately - that folder the save is in can't be seen unless you put checkbox mark "see hidden elements".
Simple and obvious but not for everyone.
