Is it possible to unbind keys?

I recently bought myself a lovely (and fairly expensive) new keyboard, thinking I'd be fine without a numpad. I actually scrolled down my Steam library to check there was no huge need for one... but that was before I purchased Caves of Qud.

Anyway, I'm having to rebind pretty much everything from scratch and I've noticed that when you assign a key, it pushes the previously assigned key over to secondary input. Things get a little confusing trying to figure out what I've assigned and where, particularly as all of the old keybinds are still there, so is there any way of wiping the list clean? Maybe I could edit a file directly somewhere? Thanks for any help.

Hit delete to clear a given keybind; or F1/F2 to reset to the default desktop or laptop binds.

D'oh! It's so simple now you've pointed it out. I was pressing space to rebind and then delete/escape, since a lot of other games function that way. It never occurred to me to try just by highlighting the option. Thanks!

Yeah, it's not that obvious, since we don't say it anywhere on the screen, but it's simple once someone tells you. ;)

Since I'm here, is there any way to switch menu screens other than 7 and 9? I'm guessing the solution would usually be to enable the "always map directions to keypad" option, but my 9/northeast key is assigned to page up, which seems to be hardcoded to scroll to top.

It should be whatever move northwest/northeast is bound to, but like you say the binds are sometimes a little goofy. It's on my deep to-do list to clean up.

Yeah, I have insert as northwest and page up as northeast. I can get insert to work by enabling "always map directions to keypad" but page up just moves the selection to the top of the list. I'll get used to only scrolling left for now.
