Two more noob question.
1. Is there any way to say "pick up all except corpse"?

2. Why when you go past some stairs up, for instance, does it sometimes say "you pass a stairs up, stairs up, stairs up." Bug?

Thanks.

There is a toggle in the options menu for excluding corpses from grab-all.

To grab all, press G over a stack of items, then press Tab.

The multiple Staircases on a tile bug is a very very old bug, like it was there 4 years ago. :)

Can we have a noob questions general thread?
Never until now my character has discovered hidden objects before stepping on them. How does he do that?

Objects aren't hidden at all; they're all equally visible either by standing on their tile or by looking at it from a distance.

Perhaps he means either Young Ivories, or he means garbage searching.

Oh, easy enough then.

Just have a ton of HPs, bandages, and healing items or regeneration.

That was not the question. The thing is: my current character is diffrent from other characters because he sometimes discoveres young ivories and lurking beths before stepping on them or pressing 's' - he simply walks near them and all the sudden they appear. My only theory is that it's a bug or a leftover that has something to do with Movespeed which has no clear purpose and my characters movespeed is bigger than 100.

But that was my answer. Just run over them, that makes them not hidden anymore.

Anyways, intelligence. I'm pretty sure intelligence lets you spot ivories.

Is this from the last update? Pretty sure it didn't work with other characters with intelligence just as good.

That has always been the case, for a very very very long time.
Over 4 years even.
They get checked as you walk near them, and the higher the intelligence, the easier it is to see them.

Is anyone still here? What does 1 and 12 mean in 1d12?

the damage roll is from 1-12. if it were, say, 2d4, it would be 2-8.

One roll of a twelve-sided die. Generates a random number up to 12.
