F*ing wristblades - how do they work?
I was wondering how exactly do wristblades work. I mean, do they only trigger when you hit with the weapon in the same hand? Will it trigger if it's on an arm that holds a shield? Is there a fixed chance to trigger? is it considered being in primary hand if it's on a primary arm? Do they benefit from Short blade talents? What about the ones that require them being in a specific hand? So confused >.<

I believe they function basically how they would if they were equipped in a hand- I've wielded a vibrokopesh and wrist blade with right hand and arm and pretty much always scored a hit with both weapons. I can't vouch for the small blades skills- except I might remember causing bleeding on enemies with the wrist blade. If my memory is correct, it points to them being able to take advantage of the skills. No idea about the shield arm thing. Or offhand use, or how the dual-wielding skill affects them, if at all.

I don't think you can wear a wristblade and shield on the same arm, can you?

Yes, they can be used with shields (or other weapons for that matter) in the same hand. This allows potentially five attacks if you're a bog-standard two-armed, one-headed true kin with nothing better to use slots for. Two hands with regular weapons, two wristblades, and one fork-horned helm. More if you find helping hands.

There are two types of shields. The small ones attach to the arm slot and the big ones attach to the hand slot.

That means you could have a big shield attached to your hand slot and a wristblade attached to your arm slot.

The small ones are bucklers, ie. wooden bucklers, or Stoppsvalin. The larger are actually called shields in name, usually.
