Brooding Mushrooms
What is the best slot for infection is my next question. If I have multiple arms I would go for 1 of the hands.
But with 1 set of arms I would go for the Glove/Gauntlet slot (Worn on hands).
Opinions?
I could be wrong but I believe (from what people have said and my own experimentation) that which puff-color causes which infections is randomly seeded at generation.
So if a brooding rosepuff causes you mumble mouth in one playthrough, all brooding rosepuffs in that specific playthrough will cause the same infection. If you start a new character, it might be different.
I don't think you can choose which limb is colonized? Outside of one specific circumstance. I prefer the face because I'm a sucker for AC bonuses and facial AC bonuses are rare to come by, but by mid-to-late-game the face can be an important limb to keep free for equipment. So an arm is my second priority. If you're a chimera and have mutated a fungal outcropping, I believe those have priority and will be infected first.
