On the other hand, you can give also equip the best grenade for a given situation. For example, equip an EMP grenade then send them into one of those treasure rooms guarded by turrets.
It took me probably a couple dozen characters to develop a fugue build that works perfectly with my play-style.
Why not get teleported into situations where you're the one being summoned?
And that leads me to my next point. I've posted about this ages ago. Missed shots have way way way too high of a chance to hit the wrong target. Every time i'm shooting at something outside, I kill more neutral mobs in the background than i'm aiming for most times.
*Someone please make a mod for lowering accidental hits on missed shots*
I haven't played CoQ for about a year but have they changed how you can use a heavy wisdom build to crazily compound temporal fugue with mass mind and have like 30+ vibro kopesh wielding, mind-flaying, teleporting clones at one time on screen? If not Temporal Fugue is probably the most powerful mutation in the game when used correctly. It is literally one of the builds you can use to take on chrome pyramids with almost 0 risk, and clear entire lower depth floors in seconds with very little effort. If they haven't changed this then Temporal Fugue only needs work in the sense that is it crazy overpowered and I don't think it needs help there either because this is a single player game and it is a hilariously fun combo.
Did you even read my post before typing out your reply? I never asked for better accuracy, not once. So you don't have to be bothered to actually read my original post, I said missed shots hit un-intended targets too much. IF anything i'm asking to lower the accuracy. Now, since you seem to need a full background to provide merit to my comment, my last character with Temporal Fugue was from the weekly challenge where we were given characters with borderlands pistols to start, and the character also had a very good starting Agility, I think it was like 20 to start. I made it up to level 10 and always put my points into agility. Now, that I explained the full background of where my comment originates from, does it make more sense or do you want to instruct me on how to put more points into agility?
I've played many characters centered around TF, and can get them to end game levels without any of the issues you're experiencing. You just suck at using TF.
TF clones always spawn in roughly the same location relative to your character. It's very predictable and there's absolutely no reason to ever get shot by them if you play smart.
If you need to use TF from such a position where friendly fire has even a small chance of killing you, JUST UNEQUIP YOUR RANGED WEAPON. The clones will still deal damage as well as create a diversion if you need to make an escape. I've already explained this too, but still OP continues to complain about TF and friendly fire... smh.
Or just plan out your encounters so you can safely use TF without putting yourself in danger.
tldr; TF is a very powerful mutation, one of the strongest in the game. You just need to take the time to learn the mechanics and then plan your character build and your combat encounters around it's quirks.
Why are you posting a reply on a 3 year old message? Got nothing better to do?
