I even had a disguise of the sightless way which made them neutral to me as well as another game I found a disguise of a farmer which gave the farming guild rep while worn.
It also has the effect of changing the creatures sprite to that of the factions sprite (sightless way disguise makes you look like 1 of the low level cult members) which had confused me at first since when I found it a Kobold was wearing it but was still titled as just a normal Kobold.
Is there any way to make a Schroedinger page give me rep with a specific faction? I was so angry when it gave me +rep with &#*$( DOGS
This will be displayed as [<Faction> chapter] or [chapter unspecified] at the end of the page's description.
You may need to view the full description to see this as the item name is long and can get cut-off in the inventory view

If it's an npc with a ton of armour you can go through a tedious process of cracking through it with crits from a copper axe while letting the npc heal in a pool of convalescence.
How does attacking them & letting them heal up in a pool of convalescence make them like you?
Of course you have to not have the decap ability.
Ah! That makes a lot of sense then.
