About procedural generation...
Huge fan of this feature, so my question is... what else is procedurally generated in the game? besides the map!

The map itself isn't procedurally generated. Each parasang (or zone on the main map) is the same type of region across every playthrough. Certain quest locations behave likewise, always generated at the same locations. It's the contents of the zones themselves that are randomly generated, ie the layout of each zone is always different, generally speaking.

Random start villages and their histories are procedurally generated, as are the histories for all but one of the sultans. There are also books in the game that are procedurally "written". They're usually gibberish, but still readable.

Monsters too are procedurally generated. Top of my head, they can: have random mutation (like 2 head, 4 arms, ...) , can be "mechanized", can have random euipement (from trash to troublesome),...

Aside from main quest and fixed location quest every random village come random quest. If you're lucky they can be easy and yield great rewards.

Random village also come with random npc that you may water ritual with and therefore potentially learn crazy skill you wouldn't easily have access to.

Almost everything except normal items, and the world map. Each tile of the world map is different (except some specific quest locations/towns). The Lore is, to a degree, proc gen, the books, the villages, the artifacts, a lot of the dialogue... basically everything that can make use a markov chain does so.

Some locations on the world map are fixed, while others are entirely procedural, like monster lairs and hidden ruins. Still others are always in the same place but are procedural or semi-procedural, eg. there's a marketplace that's always in the same part of the map and always has the same center structure, but the stalls, most of the people, and stuff sold there changes from game to game.
