Is the Perma-Domination (Body-Swapping) Gone?

After a long search, I finally found and (successfully) beguiled a creature I want to swap bodies with. However, even after doing what every how-to instruction set says, I've been unable to do it.

Even if I Dominate the creature then Dominate myself with it, as soon as the effect count is over, I go back to the creature, and its original Dominated effect counter is still going and once it runs out, I end up back in my old body. I tried doing the Dehydration one, and all I managed was to die the moment my HP reached zero (I'm not ashamed to admit I had backed-up my save for this).

Am I doing something wrong? Please tell me this wasn't removed...

So I don't think it's gone, as I did it the other day by pure accident.
I'm still very new to the game, so when I was near death by the hands of a group of scorpions following a scorpion lord or whatever. I decided 'what the heck' and possessed the purple scorpion, and I succeeded. My character died like the next turn, and I was stuck in the body of a famous scorpion, dying of thirst shortly after.

Hm, so the death one works. Will try a few time and see what happens.

Also, I'm playing on the Beta (mostly for the new GUI stuff), dunno if that matters.

EDIT: Yeah, managed to make it work, trick is having only 1 HP left, not 2 HP, even if you're losing 2HP per turn. Still no idea why the "Dominate Twice" doesn't work anymore.

Is this the only way to body swap now? You have to find a way for your original body to die after swapping to another? What if you attack it with your new body?

see above. get to 1hp ==> dominate ==> kill your old self ==> profit.
