Exactly what constitutes a "critter corpse" for purposes of "What's Eating..."

I cleared out the entire dungeon, went back to town, then I checked my quest log and saw that I needed to bring a "critter corpse" as proof. I went back to the dungeon and started looking around. I didn't see a single corpse marked as a "critter". I picked up a "glow-wight corpse", hoping that it would update the quest description, but "get a critter corpse" and "collect a corpse of one of the creatures" are still unchecked. I brought the glow-wight corpse to town, but when I speak to the elder he doesn't have anything to say about the quest.

Should I be looking for a different corpse?

That quest specifically wants you to bring a Girshling corpse back to the elder of Joppa. It says critter (i think because the townsfolk call them critters in the quest dialogue), but it means Girshling.

On my fifth time back down into the dungeon, I happened across a purple Girshling corpse and picked it up on a whim. Boom. Thanks for the help.
