Obviously given the large number of possible scenarios it's almost normal to expect a few errors in there, but it is remarkable how often she thinks you've accused her or her siblings.
Hopefully someday there will be a way to find the truth. It feels terrible completing that quest right now since you have no idea who's the real culprit and are just making up stories to frame whoever you want. I end up just not doing it at all.
This. Though I have had solutions where the culprit was obvious also. If the area gets fleshed out maybe I'll go there, but right now not much of a point after you've done the quest once. Kinda meh xp as well, though maybe that's for balance reasons since the quest is "safe".
