The crux behind my suggestion that mental mirror/mind sear possibly be modified I would frame in this question....If you are playing an esper, do you have to play with high willpower?
As the abilities sit right now I think the answer is yes, as seen in my example sooner or later a esper hunter with mind sear and mental mirror will one shot kill you if you don't. My suggestion stems from what I feel is a very strong aspect of the game, that you can build your character however you want. What if you want to build an esper with high agility and use guns, what about one with high stength and big guns but low toughness, ect. My suggestion is rooted in that modifying how the mind sear/esper hunter damage plays may allow the player more freedom to create a character with whatever skill ephasis they want, and still have it be viable.
