No matter what your Ego is, a 1 pound copper ore both buys and sells for 10 drams.
Effectively you can take 100 drams of water, and reduce the weight down to 10lbs if you buy up copper ore. Silver ores are worth 50 and work the same way bringing you down to 2lbs. You can buy gems and ores worth 300 drams all weighing 1 pound. Very useful.
Just save enough to drink!
That's good advice. I came up with the same tactic the other day. I almost died of thirst because I overdid It. Had to walk into a room full of turrets to check if there was water in any of the chests. There was :)
Also I realize the question was for "storing" water. You can drop it anywhere in towns. It will stay there.
