Died to "Violate the Pauli exclusion principle". Why?
My character (Mutated Human Arconaut, mutations: Heightened Quickness/Multiple Arms/Night Vision/Tripple-jointed/Brittle Bones/Mental Mirror/Sense Psychic) was suddenly instakilled, and I don't know how and why. I don't know what "Violate the Pauli exclusion principle" is, probably it's something about violating the laws of physics. But I didn't use any injections, skills or items related to physical anomalies. IIRC, I was killed while auto-exploring. It's a very frustrating and unfair death, given that I've found 3 Carbide Short Swords, Eater's Nectar Injector, Laser Pistol and other things almost right off the start.
What's the cause? How to prevent this? Is it about the set of mutations? Because of what's happened, I'm afraid to create a new character using the same template, because if this instadeath happens randomly without any action by player, then I can just lose everything at once. That would be especially terrible, if it happens on 60th hour of the game.

(FYI, right now if something completely bugged happens you can alt+F4 at the you died screen and your saves will be around)

I got killed for "violating the Pauli exclusion principle" just now. I believe what happened was that I was hit by a phase grenade, then by an explosion which pushed my into a wall, where I promptly phased back. I would have guessed that things which push you around wouldn't affect you while you're phased out, but given the interaction that's my guess as to what happened.

This death occurs when you phase back while in wall. I'm not sure how autoexplore interacts with it, but it's possible to start phasing from use of a Shade Oil tonic, blundering into phase webbing, certain recipes (e.g. sometimes from use of Canned-Have-It-All) and/or possibly an enemy who used a phase grenade. Some of these effects are very short (phase webbing can last as little as 1 round after you escape), so if you accidently hit the wrong key at the wrong time and walked into a wall...

Didn't you ran into a phasing web before?

Once i manually explored a dungeon because it was full with webs. Some of them was phasing webs and i was not aware what they can do. I just spam a direction key because i stuck in the webs and suddenly i died because the last web was a phasing one, it phased me and i ran into the wall. Ooops.

In your case maybe the auto-explore walks into the walls because your character _can_ walk into them and died when the phasing expired.
