Step on it, grab it, move away, then douse yourself.
And have a good deal of HP, just in case.
Besides, most liquid merchants sell glass bottles of lava. :P
Glass's thermal conductivity and it's heat tolerance would make it almost perfect for transporting lava over all other metals and materials, with the sole exception being ceramics.
Well it does depend on the quality of the glass, now. Pyrex is higher quality glass, for example, and can be used for baking without cracking.
THat asid, in this game, it doesn't make sense that glass wouldn't work, since the game literally can sell glass bottles full of lava to you.
So, this has to be a bug, more than a feature. :)
But its not about the melting point. Its about the glass cracking due to impurities. Doesn't matter I guess, I'm not trying to argue.
I forgot that the impurities in the glass bottle would cause the shattering from heat, despite the thermal conductivity of glass and the heat tolerance being nearly as good as ceramics.
That's what threw me off.
Sorry, I totally forgot about how glass naturally has flaws.
THat said, I know the game has glass bottles full of lava for sale, so it seems weird that they could break on you. :P
Yeah I agree :)
