Pax Klanq, I presume?
I figured out how to do this quest through just blundering about, and having looked around google trying to figure it out in the first place and finding nothing, I decided I'd help you out myself.

1. Finding Klanq requires that you go to the Rainbow Wood and head towards its center. Mind you, the center is not just a straight line from left to right or up and down, you'll have to travel towards vaguely where you think it is (generally 1 tile on the world map is 6 on the ground) and then wander around a bit.

2. Once you see 'Eater's Flesh' (orange mushrooms) and assuming you don't have Masterful Harvestry, look for a splattered one and pick up the eater's flesh. Chow down.

3. You'll start tripping balls at this point, but a pathway will appear on the ground. Follow it and you'll reach a house with Pax Klanq in it, talk to him.

4. Your quest isn't actually done at this point. Klanq will give you another one, but you still need to return to grit-gate and talk to Q-Girl if you havent (I did this at the and and received her Schematic for the climber but I don't know if that may have been a glitch.) and then talk to Barathum again, this will finish the quest!

5. If you couldn't see it in your quest menu because it doesn't seem to scroll like mine, you'll now be able to see the requirements for Klanq Puff At You.

Having just now finished Klanq Puff At You as well (albeit through a glitch, one of the requirements was to puff at the Six Day Stilt but when i was there first hitting the key did nothing, then when i did it in the cathedral itself the quest bugged out and completed every requirement at once, though i would've had the 4 needed at that point to begin with.) I do have a question, is there anything else main story wise after this? Klanq is no longer in his hut for me, and there doesnt seem to be anywhere else to go.

I've finished the quest before and gone back and he's still in his hut, so maybe he's in the surrounding area or he bugged out or something for you? But no, that's the end of the main quest at the moment. The only thing you can do is report back to Grit Gate. But there's still the sultan dungeons and death lands to explore!

Maybe ill try wishing him back and see if that works then, thank you. He spawned right next to a wine sludge spawner so he could've very easily gotten wiped out in all the chaos one of those causes. You got any tips on how sultan dungeons really work? I thought i found one once, some place called Migash learned from a painting that randomly showed up on my map one time, but it was just filled with low level enemies and gibberish books. Ended at like floor 6 with no stairs down except a deep shaft that took me to just a generic underground cave.

I think by the time you've finished all the quests most of the sultan dungeons should be fairly easy. Their difficulty is based on where they are on the map. The books can be taken to the six day stilt and traded for experience. They give between 200-1000 exp each usually.

Eh no longer matters, the new update broke my level 22 save file and no matter how many versions back I go it cannot be used. thanks devs >.<

I was able to play on the jan07 version and finish mine. Also unormal very rarely breaks save compatibility, so don't expect it to happen too much. If you can't finish your save on a previous version there's something else that is wrong.
