You know I think I'm gonna start calling them ponoses and vagooos. That said, I don't think people who buy these games specifically for that kinda thing would appreciate that haha.

Except they have quite a bit of text going on along those 1-3 CGs describing the scene in details, which increases the actual time to several minutes. Also characters, except protagonist most of the times, are voiced and there are sometimes copulation sounds and moaning. The difference is like comparing your average Hollywood blockbuster sex-scene to a scene in a porn movie.
Also, mosaics do not change the fact that material is pornographic. In fact any pornographic material (like posters, for example) cannot be publicized without them according to japanese censorship laws. And as for the other countries i don't think you can just add pixelization and bleep/mute naughty sounds in porn movies and start showing them at non-adult cinemas.

There's a bit of a difference there- those games don't have explicit, full-on sex scenes with visible penetration and the whole shebang. In other words, those games aren't porn. Eroge (or nukige at least), by definition, are.

I'm all in favour of porn, but you have to be completely honest, there's a hell of a difference between an eroge and the likes of Mass Effect.

Perhaps, but they still look and, and are treated mentally, physically, and emotionally as adults, and since there not humans, there adult hood is completly differnt, and since they seem to age at the rate of cats, good hance they would be be to old, or even dead, to do anything by the time they'd be an adult by human standards. Also by strait years of being alive logic then it would be ok to do a 30 year old elf even if they look act and are treated there 10, once your dealing if non humans, you have to consider what there maturity age is, not ours, and im pretty certain for legality reasons, if its not a human there gonna base it on strait looks, and maybe actions.
