They've got 2 kickstarters going(Clannad & Grisaia) and nekopara is nearing its release, they don't always have the time to visit the steam forums.
You could've tried tweeting them or asking them on tumblr instead(I believe they answer tumblr questions every.. monday?) and there's even a tweet from the nekopara devs themselves saying it's windows only.
Explain how asking if the developer plans on a Mac version is trolling. Explain how a private profile saying "lol buy a pc kid" - stupid reply for several reasons - is not trolling. Explain how the developer not answering the question, but instead telling me to spend around $300 on Windows and Parallels to play their visual novel is not trolling. Get a grip.
Wow. Let it out. Good job.
You must be unaware - developers sometimes release Mac versions after releasing the Windows version. When I see a game I'm interested in, but it's Windows only, I ask if it'll be released for Mac too. All developers so far have kindly replied yes or no - if yes, the game goes on my wishlist. Many Mac-only gamers do this. No need for a fuss or to be idiotically rude and say things like "buy a pc kid lol".
You can have the last word if you like, I got the rude answer from the developer, but at least it was an answer finally. Back to my other 170+ games.
