Wanko to Kurasou was pretty good since it had several routes (two?) and a great story but sadly featured only one catgirl and the rest were doggirls. While Nekopara has only a single route and less of a story it is infact a volume 1 so I can only assume there will be a volume 2+ (I seriously hope so).

That being said I would still say I enjoyed Nekopara far more just because I love catgirls more. The featured catgirls were insanely cute, bursting with personality along with superb art and animation making for a fun experience that in my opinion can easily rival Wanko.

Really though I would say read them both since they are both great and great VN's deserve support.

I'm definitely in the "why not play both" faction. They're both wonderful Visual Novels. I think it would be hilarious if someone were to remake Wanko with E-mote. While Nekopara is shorter, it supposedly is the first in a series. Then we can argue which volume is the best. The real question is, who is better. Silvie and Mikan or Chocola and Vanilla.

I liked Wanko to Kurasou myself. Matter of fact, Mikan (who is your "dog girl" pet) has a remotely similar history that Chocola and Vanilla share.

I've only played through it once, and I believe I got Mikan's good end. I think there's at least 3 routes? I could be wrong... I never was able to get back to it since I got distracted by other games.

They're both good. Though I enjoyed Wanko as a read more Nekopara just makes me smile all the time. Though I still love Pure Pure/Hinata more.

Wanko To Kurasu Was one of the best VNs i have played, if not for anything more than it's ability to coil around your heartstrings and vilolently rip them to shreds, then somehow manage to sew them backtogether, torn,worn, but somehow stronger then before.

I keep seeing this, and I still haven't played through it yet.. I read the first chapter is getting a complete re-write, so I may wait for that to finish and then toil around in it.

Are you meaning the first chapter of NekoPara or of Wanko?
