Some questions regarding R18 version

So I bought the original R18 version some time ago as I dislike any form of censorship, only recently started playing it.

Now there is the "turn H animation on button" in options so it basically turns sex scenes on from what I understand. I thought about turning it off as I personally can't stand japanese hentai in games or animation videos for various reasons, however I felt like I would be skipping some story elements by doing so. I end up skipping sex scenes by quickly browsing through them without much reading/listening so far and tbh they feel kinda out of place with all cute/moe stuff happening and suddenly that... Yeah.

I was wondering if I disabled it would it also disable various ecchi scenes like the bath scene (I'm totally fine with those, more than fine actually :P ). Also does turning it off half-way through the game will disable scenes or will it only work on a new save?

Also out of curiosity is the bath scene in any form in steam version (like slightly censored with bikinis or underwear) or is it removed completly?

In the Steam version, the bath scene is censored with (oh, the irony) steam.

I would expect it to do exactly what it says, i.e. only disable the animations that exist in those scenes. There's little point to that unless you just dislike animation in particular, or if there is some technical reason, such as your computer being so pathetic it can't handle them (even my mediocre system can handle them, so that's not too likely).

Anyway, I checked, and the H-scenes do indeed play even with that option off. If you want to censor them yourself, you need to remove or rename the file adultsonly.xp3 in the application folder. Without that, it works exactly like the Steam version, including skipping those scenes. Note that you will also get the censored version of certain CGs, like the bath scene and a certain instance of fondling. (If you want to see uncensored versions, you can put the aforementioned file back and restart the game.)

Well, technically it's censored without that file. But aside from the H-scenes, they really censored it as little as they could possibly get away with on Steam. Everything is identical, except for a handful of CGs and lines of dialogue. I think that will please you as much as it does me.

Such a shame the steam version is poor, i bought it not realizing there was no patch, now i regret not getting the real copy.

You can find the patches separately on the Denpasoft Store for $10 each (Total of $40)

You're assuming the previous poster can see your link. Not everyone can. It depends on whether the DLC is available in their area.

Just to be clear, in case the above is true: there is an 18+ DLC for this volume, as well as 2 and 3, here on Steam. Not for Vol. 4, though; they banned that.

But where the DLC is unavailable on Steam, other outlets are worth checking.

The "H-Animations" option only makes the Sex Scenes more immersive with true movement, disabling it doesn't dosable the scenes overall
